This includes the use of compost rather than fertilizers, biological control instead of synthetic pesticides, etc. Although the results are still under debate, many people and scientific studies have shown that not only does organic gardening provide numerous health benefits for humans, but it also is more environmentally friendly for a whole host of reasons. Soil Amendments
In addition to fertilizers, the nursery is proud to offer our customers John and Bob's Soil Optimizer! This great product when used twice a year (spring and fall), will add humus and humic acid to your soil which benefits the micro-organisms in your soil--this in turn results in healthier plants.
